Your first visit at BASE PT and Wellness is a one-on-one, 60-minute session with your licensed physical therapist. This initial evaluation is all about getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your goals, lifestyle, and how your body moves. During this time, your PT will determine the best course of action for your specific problem through tests and measures.
To book your first appointment, we ask that you schedule a quick 15 minute discovery call with our Physical Therapist so we can understand what your needs are and how we can best serve you.
After your initial evaluation, your PT will set you up with a plan and course for treatment. Each treatment plan is evidence-based and fully individualized to address your specific injury, movement limitations, and personal goals. Depending on your needs, sessions may include a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, stretching, strengthening, and balance or neuromuscular training.
These are follow up appointments after an initial evaluation, but if you need to reschedule or rebook you can do so directly in the Jane App!
This 60-minute, one-on-one session with your physical therapist is designed to assess how your body moves, identify any limitations, and create a plan to help you feel stronger, more mobile, and more confident in your activity. Whether you're aiming to prevent future injuries, build a solid foundation for fitness, or simply optimize how you move, we’re here to help you reach your goals.
Whether you’re working through muscle tension, feeling stiff from training, or simply need time to unwind, massage therapy is now available right here at BASE. Enjoy a 50-minute sports or deep tissue session, designed to ease aches, improve mobility, and support your overall wellness. Massage pairs perfectly with your PT plan but also works great as a stand-alone way to care for your body and recharge!
At BASE, we use a variety of hands-on techniques to support your recovery and performance. Cupping uses suction to increase blood flow, release tight muscles, and promote healing. Dry needling targets trigger points with a thin filament needle to relieve deep muscle tension and reduce pain. Taping provides support and stability to joints and muscles without limiting movement—helping improve posture, reduce strain, and enhance performance. These tools are often used alongside your treatment plan to help you move and feel your best.
At BASE PT and Wellness, we use the Jane App. It is a secure, user-friendly platform that makes booking and managing your appointments simple and convenient. Through Jane, you can schedule sessions, complete intake forms, update personal information, and securely store your health history all in one place. It’s designed to keep your information safe while making your experience with us as smooth and stress-free as possible.
When you schedule your first appointment, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to log in and set up your Jane account. Once you're set up, you’ll have 24/7 access to your profile, where you can schedule and reschedule appointments, view upcoming visits, and stay connected with our team.
